Always create independent files for your mods files, never ever modify original ones and overwrite them by using the same name file. Seems to me there's something weird going on with mods, because sometimes they'll work fine together, but even adding one at a time and checking whether the game runs with them or not, and stopping those that don't (unsubscribing, unticking and deleting from package manager) sooner or later it just seems to stop working - especially for online games. In the same menu where you activate the mods, you can drag mods around the menu and place the load order how you want it.
